Agnieszka Ostapowicz
She is the violinist and manager of cultural events.
She was born in a family with musical roots and traditions.
Her mother – Helena Ostapowicz – was her first teacher, who taught her to play to violin. Then she took apart in various trainings, e.g. in Lancut by prof. Eberhardt Feltz (from Berlin), by Keen Kook Lee (From London) and by Elspeth Iliff (from London). She continued her musical education in musical secondary school in Wroclaw under direction Tomasz Orzech, Tomasz Stocki and prof. Krzysztof Bruczkowski. Later she learned in Wroclaw Musical Academy in prof. Bruczkowski’s class.
During her studies she was fascinated by former music played by instrumental from age in which this music was composed. She took part in numerous workshops and masterly courses devoted to this music leaded by Peter Lessauer, Marinette Troost, Zygmunt Kaczmarski, Simon Standage, Michael Comberti, Paulina Nobes, Julia Bischop.
She stared to work with polish and international former music bands. She graduated her studies with a very good result and after it she graduated also postgraduate studies in Dresden Academy for Former Music (Dresdner Akademie für Alte Musik) as a colleger in class of baroque violin of Simon Standage.
During her studies she started to cooperate with theaters, festivals and Wroclaw culture institutions for e.g. with „Wratislavia Cantans”.
Since than she has organized international cooperation with young musicians from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Holland and United States. She has coorganized courses for teachers playing on string instruments. This courses are leaded by experts from Poland, Germany, Great Britain and Russia.
For Culture Municipal she translates form English a German instructive materials, which are distributed in artistic circles in whole Poland. She is also a member of ESTA.
As a violinist she has cooperated with a lot of symphonic and chamber orchestras from the whole world. Recently she gives a concert as a soloist.
She also cooperates with Artistic Agency Art&Business Direction.
Since 2000 Agnieszka Ostapowicz-Rybarczyk has been a director of Polish-German Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of Lower Silesia and since 2004 a director of Young Classic Wratislavia – Young Orchestra Festival
Since 2005 she has been a president of the board of PRO ARTE Foundation. In 2006 she graduated postgraduate studies of the culture management at Jagielloński Uniwersytet.
